Women Build Project Kicked Off by Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, MO (HFHS) kicked off the building of the Women Build project with a signing of the stud ceremony on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The Women Build home is being built for a family with two children by utilizing the volunteer efforts of more than 800 female volunteers. HFHS has partnered with Junior League of Springfield, MO on this special project by joining forces to combat a shared interest in building better communities. The partnership between HFHS and Junior League of Springfield, MO brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide.
