In support of local families in need, Metropolitan National Bank recently donated 32 volunteer hours and raised $1,083 for Habitat for Humanity of Springfield. The local non-profit relies entirely on donations and volunteers to sustain their efforts in providing safe, affordable and quality housing for families in the Springfield community.
The $1,083 donation raised by Metropolitan will go toward the purchase of building supplies, giving newfound hope to deserving local families in need of a place to call home.
“There are so many hard-working families in Springfield that still struggle to afford basic needs, including shelter,” explained Michal Moss Early, senior vice president, business development and marketing officer at Metropolitan. “Growing up in a safe and secure environment helps children reach their full potential within our community. That’s why our team is honored to support Habitat for Humanity in their effort to provide housing to those who need it most.”
