Metropolitan National Bank proudly announces the promotion of two exceptional talents: Nancy Akromis, promoted from Banking Center Assistant Manager to AVP, Banking Center Manager; and Shari Schirmang, transferred to the Branson West location as the Assistant Banking Center Manager.
Akromis launched her banking career in 2006 as a Teller for Metropolitan. Her commitment to excellence was recognized with several vertical promotions, moving from a Retail Specialist at the Kimberling City location to the Banking Center Assistant Manager at Branson West. Her most recent promotion to the role of AVP, Banking Center Manager at Branson West is one for which Akromis envisions opportunity to strengthen business relationships and enhance the customer experience. “I am looking forward to leading the branch in a direction that will facilitate growth and recognition as the premier banking facility in Branson West,” said Akromis. “We have a strong client base, and we are dedicated to maintaining these relationships by providing the superior level of customer care that our clients deserve.”
Schirmang’s 36 years of banking experience began in Harwood Heights, IL at Parkway Bank and Trust. She has held positions ranging from Teller to Assistant Vice President in Operations before landing at Metropolitan, where she was promoted to Assistant Banking Center Manager at Kimberling City in 2006. Now serving in that same role at the Branson West location, Schirmang looks forward to continuing a tradition of providing trusted service to customers in the Tri-Lakes community. Said Akromis, who will be supervising at the Branson West location, “I have had the privilege of working with Shari in the past at the Kimberling City location. When you combine Shari’s high level of expertise in personal and business banking, along with her exceptional customer service skills, it’s easy to see why she’s such a tremendous asset to our team.”
