About Wahlquist

Aaron Wahlquist serves as Communications Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield. Aaron holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from SMSU (now MSU), in Springfield, MO and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Communications and Information (emphasis in Advertising). Aaron has 18 years experience in communications, advertising, graphic design, publications and web design including: Publications Director, Pellissippi State Community College – Continuing Education; Art Director, Perkin Marketing; and owner of justADhumor, inc (justADvertize) since 1998. Between 1997 and 2000 Aaron performed Stand-up Comedy. From 1997 until December 2010 Aaron worked with the HBA of Greater Springfield on the HBA Event Magazine, website and many other projects. In addition to these same duties as Communications Director he will re responsible for the coordination of all publications and e-publications as well in-house graphic design and overall communications. Aaron’s wife Kim handles all the bookkeeping for justADvertize as well as managing 2 children, Hannah and Keaton, still in their home while keeping in touch with their oldest daughter Lacey who graduated High School in 2010. In 2007 they lost their twelve year old son Tanner who will never be forgotten. Aaron and Kim are members of the James River Assembly of God and Aaron enjoys coaching Upward Basketball once a year.
